The story

Non-stop defense was established in 2021 to supply specialized dog equipment and high-quality arctic clothing to the Norwegian Armed Forces. Originating from Non-stop dogwear, a globally recognized company dedicated to performance gear for active dogs and their handlers, Non-stop defense quickly became synonymous with reliability and innovation.

Drawing from extensive operational experience and close collaboration with military, police, search and rescue, and other professional working dog organizations, we understand the critical importance of reliable gear. Our continuous product development process incorporates direct feedback and practical insights from professionals operating in demanding environments.

In 2025, reflecting our expanding international presence and dedication to serving a broader range of professional sectors, Non-stop defense evolved into Non-stop professional.

Today, Non-stop professional is trusted globally, delivering robust and dependable equipment that meets the rigorous demands of military, police, and search and rescue professionals worldwide.

The production process

We have more than 10 years of experience with developing dog gear and extreme arctic clothing. Functionality, quality and freedom of movement is key in everything we do.

Since 2009, a creative and dedicated team have turned ideas into reality from our Headquarters in Brøttum, Norway. Nothing is left to chance when developing the gear of the future.

First-hand experience

In arctic conditions, you rely on your equipment. It can mean the difference between life and death. We have first-hand experience with the importance of functional, ergonomic and durable gear.

A harness that chafes, restricts the dog or breaks in a blizzard is not an option when you are miles away from civilization in freezing temperatures. The same goes for clothing.

One of the reasons our cooperation with the army, police and working dogs has been successful is that you have the same needs as dog mushers. You operate under the same weather conditions. You must be able to move freely. You need protection from the cold when lying or standing still while also having the possibility to adjust temperature when suddenly being on the move.
